Associate: Rebecca Murray
Rebecca started her recruiting career in 1995 and has developed a formidable network of contacts in Scotland and throughout much of the rest of the UK. She set up The Murray Partnership in September 2009 to focus on Executive Search primarily in the Scottish market. Rebecca specializes in general management roles, Non Exec assignments Human Resources, Marketing, Distribution and Finance. The Murray Partnership is based in Edinburgh and provides retained search and consultancy services to international blue chip companies, financial services institutions, private, and family owned businesses. Rebecca previously spent ten years with Whitehead Mann and from 2004 ran the Scottish Search Practice in Edinburgh. She was also a Partner in the Consumer, Banking & Insurance team and a senior member of the Human Resources practice. Prior to moving to Edinburgh, Rebecca ran the firm’s Fixed Income practice in London.
The Murray Partnership’s approach is to work with a small, tightly managed client base and dedicate more time, energy and focus than is usually possible to get from a larger, often London-centric firm. The main difference is that the Partnership does not operate a leveraged model. All contact with clients, candidates and referees are made by the person responsible for the project. This model, combined with a focus and commitment to Scotland has resulted in a 100% success rate in completing assignments.
